Innovation for impact
If there is a common denominator in what we do, it is innovation in all its shapes and forms. As all innovators, our holy grail is impact. The search of that ultimate impact has determined many of steps. Our latest frontier is extracting business insights from data in order to drive development of individual companies and society as a whole.
Data Science
Extracting value from data through artificial intelligence and data analysis. Trained at MIT in Applied Data Science. Two years of Python and R. Working knowledge of AWS technologies. Previously, 8 years as Java programmer. Designed large-scale MVC applications.
Business
Held management positions for the last 20 years, managing teams of up to 40 persons. Started three companies (a consultancy, a machine building firm, and a precision livestock farming company). Last start-up was sold to a large US-American company in 2021. Then oversaw the conversion of the start-up into the largest and most advanced R&D centre in Precision Livestock Farming before leaving in June 2024.
Cooperation
Partly as consultancy engagements, ventured into cooperation. Had the chance to work with seven different bodies of the United Nations in South-East Asia, Middle-East, Africa and to some extent in the Americas, mainly in agriculture, fisheries (capture and farmed), animal production and conservation. In Europe, worked on numerous European research projects in animal production, fisheries and food traceability.
Experience
Java developer, team lead, principal consultant and division manager. Led international development projects and ran German division.
Technological lead of start-up in food traceability. Large-scale projects with focus on Southeast Asia. Started office in Malaysia and managed global development team.
Founded boutique consultancy for bringing innovation to the market with focus on agriculture, livestock and fisheries. Projects with 7 bodies of the United Nations. Leader in several EU-funded projects.
Executive Founder of Faromatics with innovative software and hardware product in livestock management. Creation of unique team from 0 to 25 employees. Responsibilities in product management, IT, marketing, sales, finances and investment.
Responsible for Centre of Excellence in Precision Livestock Farming developing next-gen products (IoT, AI, Big Data) for better livestock management. Design of product line for AGCO, company with 20bn revenue and 20,000 employees.

PhD in Quantum Mechanics (summa cum laude)
Post-doc in turbulent fluid mechanics
Education in Applied Data Science. Finished top 10%.
